Oman minister sends condolences to Algeria over forest fires
Oman and Algerian Foreign Ministers

Muscat: The Foreign Minister of Oman has offered his condolences to the Algerian government and its people for the victims of the forest fires.

The ministry said in a statement: "His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, made a phone call to His Excellency Ramtane Lamamra, Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad in the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria."

"During which he expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the government and the Algerian people and the victims of the forest fires in several Algerian states, prayed for the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery."

The statement added: "The minister also expressed the Sultanate's solidarity to stand with Algeria to overcome this crisis. The two ministers expressed the determination of the countries to continue and enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields that bring mutual benefits and develop common interests."
