Muscat: As many as 476 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) were registered in the Sultanate during the past 2 days, in addition to 20 new Covid-19-related deaths.
This brings the total number of positive COVID-19 cases to 299,418 in the Sultanate.
The total number of Covid-19-related deaths reached 3,968, the Ministry of Health said.
The Ministry added that 1,015 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 286,679 recoveries.
The Ministry also pointed out that 22 cases were hospitalized over the past 24 hours, as the total number of current hospitalized COVID-19-infected patients stands at 299 of them 129 are in intensive care units (ICUs).
