Muscat: At least 100 illegal possessions of land holdings have been removed by South Al Batinah Municipality.
"The Committee for the Immediate Removal of the South Al Batinah Municipality decided to remove 106 illegal possessions of country's lands. Legal procedures were completed to implement the removal of 64 possessions during the last month with the aim of preserving the country's lands and properties from all infringement," the municipality said in a statement.
