Oman hospital treats patient with complex heart disease

Muscat: For the first time in Oman, Sultan Qaboos University Hospital treated a woman suffering from Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

"The medical team used new technology that allowed for accurate imaging of the targeted part of the enlarged muscle," Oman News Agency added in a statement.

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is a condition caused by the thickening of the heart muscle.
