Hijri New Year holiday announced in Oman

Muscat: The Hijri New Year holiday for the year 1443 will be marked on Tuesday. 

Awqaf and Religious Affairs Ministry said crescent of Muharram 1443 AH has not been sighted on Sunday. Therefore, Monday will be the last day of Dhul Hijja.
