COVID-19 immunisation: Students from over 86 schools targeted in North Al Sharqiyah

Muscat: The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate has begun on Sunday to vaccinate school students aged 12 to 17 years old.

"This morning, a  COVID-19 vaccination campaign was launched for school students in the governorate for the target group 12 to 17 years, distributed over ten vaccination centres in six wilayats at the governorate level, which saw a good turnout," DGHS in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate said in a statement.

The directorate added that the campaign targets students from more than 86 schools, with a number of 24,385 male/female students.
