Qatari Armed Forces Chief and his accompanying delegation left Oman after an official visit

Muscat: Qatari Armed Forces Chief and his accompanying delegation left Oman on Thursday after several days of official visit.

Oman News Agency (ONA) said in a statement: "Lt Gen Pilot Ghanem Shaheen Al Ghanim, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces in the sisterly State of Qatar, and his accompanying delegation left the country today after an official visit to the Sultanate that lasted for several days."

"The guest and the accompanying delegation were bid farewell, Rear Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces, Major General Pilot Khamis bin Hamad Al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force, and a number of senior officers of the Sultan's Armed Forces, as was the military attaché at the Qatari embassy in Muscat," the statement added.

The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces in the State of Qatar on Thursday visited Oman Maritime Security Centre.

"Lt Gen Pilot Ghanem Shaheen Al Ghanim, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces in the State of Qatar, during his visit to the Maritime Security Centre, was looking at the centre's facilities and the modern equipment and technologies contained therein that suit the tasks and duties it undertakes," ONA said in a statement.
