Oman takes part in conference in solidarity of Lebanon

Muscat: Oman participated in the Third International Conference to support the Lebanese people, held via video conference on Wednesday.

"Oman, represented by the Ministry of Foreign, participated in the conference, held under the chairmanship of French President Emanuel Macron and in partnership with the United Nations, to mark the anniversary of last year's explosion in the port of Beirut," Oman News Agency said in a statement.

The Ministry was represented by His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Issa Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign for Diplomatic Affairs, who stressed Oman's support for the Republic of Lebanon.

The conference aims to mobilise international solidarity and enhance efforts to provide aid to the people of Lebanon.
