Expat arrested for theft in Oman

Muscat: An expat has been arrested by Royal Oman Police (ROP) for stealing and violating the sanctity of a citizen's home in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

"The Police Command of South Al Sharqiyah Governorate arrested an expatriate on charges of theft, violating the sanctity of a citizen's home and stealing large sums of money after he fled to an unknown destination after committing the crime. Legal procedures are being completed against him," ROP said in a statement.
