Muscat: Evaluation and screening tests for citizens who wish to enlist for the new military postings in Salalah were conducted by the Royal Court Affairs.

The tests were done in implementation of the Royal Directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, may God protect him, to speed up creating opportunities for citizens looking for work.

The screenings were done for those who had applied for job vacancies available in Salalah, which were announced in partnership with the Ministry of Labour on June 9, 2021.

Precautionary and preventive measures, in collaboration with the medical services of the Sultan’s Armed Forces, were applied.

The tests will last for four days, during which candidates are subject to the various criteria required for them to qualify for the roles advertised.

The first step of the screening is a medical examination, a fundamental and important factor for candidates to advance to the next stage.

Applicants must complete a physical fitness test after clearing their medical exam, while the last two days will feature interviews for candidates who have made it thus far.

Successful applicants will be enrolled for military training, where they will learn from an integrated programme of military training and a diversified curriculum including military sciences and a wide range of subjects that will enable them to work in the various units of the Royal Court Affairs.
