Authority directs immediate restoration of electricity supply disconnected for non-payment of bills

Muscat: The Public Services Regulatory Authority has directed electricity distribution and supply companies to immediately restore services to subscribers whose service has been cut off due to late bill payments.

The Authority said in a statement: "To protect the interests of subscribers, the Authority has directed the electricity distribution and supply companies not to cut off the service for all subscribers, and if the service is cut off for any subscriber, it must be restored immediately."

In a statement, the Authority called on subscribers to submit their complaint when the service was cut off or any other complaint through the offices of licensed companies in the different governorates or their affiliated call centers and the authority’s accounts in various social media or through the Hasil platform http://hasil.apsr.om/Login

In this regard, the Muscat Electricity Distribution Company issued a statement, "The company said through its official account on Twitter today: "We would like to inform all subscribers that the company has restored electricity to subscribers who were previously disconnected from the service, and all subscribers can contact us through the toll-free number 80070008 in the event that the service is not restored until the issuance of this Statement or to inquire about the facilities available in the process of repaying arrears."
