When was the last time you tried something new? A new colour? A new venue? Life is all about adventures and trying things for the first time. In their quest to bring you something new, Red Bull Oman recently launched ‘60 Days of Tropical’ to welcome the new Red Bull Yellow Edition in Oman! All the benefits of Red Bull but with a tropical fruit twist; it will give you Wiiings for whatever you have in store whether it’s camping in the desert of Wahiba sands, tackling the dunes, catching a beautiful sunset by the waves or trekking the spectacular mountain range.

The introduction of the new product is the first time Red Bull has launched a new product in Oman since 2005 when they introduce the Red Bull Sugarfree version. Red Bull initially entered the Oman market for the first time in 2001 with Red Bull Energy Drink.

Red Bull Yellow Edition contains the same wings but with an entirely different taste. The functional beverage combines the boost of a Red Bull Energy drink with the sweet taste of tropical fruits and has 100 per cent availability across the Sultanate.

To celebrate the launch of the new tropical fruit-tasting beverage there is an action-packed event calendar ready to roll out for all things new this tropical season!

The tropical season is set to kick off with the Neymar Jrs Five Final in Oman this weekend on March 18. The Brazilian forward’s signature football tournament spans across six continents and more than 50 countries. It’s fast, technical, tactical – and unique in the world of football. The Oman winning team will go on to compete in the World Final in Brazil in July this year. Next up on the calendar is a worldwide art competition in which university students across the globe submit doodles to be judged on style and creativity. The best artists will then be showcased in a global virtual reality gallery.
The next 60 days will also include Red Bull Titan of the Hill which is a first time event in Oman. The locally born concept is an amateur and semi-professional endure, downhill mountain bike race in a time-trial format. Bikers will have to race the clock on various terrain and the fastest will be titled “The Titan”.

Rounding up the tropical season will be a digital based photography event that brings together talented young enthusiasts and pioneering professional photographers. Red Bull 5 Pics brings together photographers to reveal the inspiration that drives them, demonstrate the techniques and tricks that give them the edge and most importantly, demonstrate their ability to tell a story through their digital photographs.

The 2017 calendar comes hot on the heels of a busy year for Red Bull after fans lined the streets of Muttrah to catch a glimpse of Red Bull Racings’ Championship winning car during the Red Bull F1 Showrun. The year ending at the climax with the Red Bull Car Park Drift Final at Port Sultan Qaboos which saw the best drifting talent from around the region descend on Oman for biggest motorsports event in Oman till now.
