Muscat: Oman Health Minister received Ambassador of the People's Republic of China on Wednesday.
A statement issued online by the Ministry of Health (MOH) said: "His Excellency Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Saidi, Minister of Health, received in his office today (Wednesday) H.E. Li Lingbing, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China."
MOH confirmed that the leaders reviewed the bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the health field. The epidemiological situation of COVID-19 and global developments in this regard was addressed during the meeting.
"The ambassador praised the Sultanate's efforts in combating this pandemic, especially with regards to the National Immunisation Campaign against COVID-19. A number of senior officials attended the meeting," the ministry added.
