Group arrested for counterfeiting currency in Oman

Muscat: A group of people have been arrested by Royal Oman Police (ROP) for counterfeiting the national currency.

"Al Dakhiliyah Governorate Police Command arrested a group of people on charges of counterfeiting the national currency, and they were seized with forgery tools and equipment and counterfeit currencies of OMR 20 and OMR 50. The case is under investigation," ROP said in a statement.
