Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has received greetings on Eid Al Adha from Khalid Hilal Al Ma’awali, Chairman of Majlis Al Shura reading as follows:
Your Majesty, Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, May the Almighty Allah protect you.
As the rituals of Eid Al Adha 1442 AH continue to unfold during the Eid’s blissful days, I am honoured, and so are my brethren, members and personnel of Majlis Al Shura, to express our best greetings to Your Majesty, wishing that this occasion will come back again and find you in full health, happiness and a long life.

Inspired by the bliss and fascination that the pilgrims feel these days as they perform the Islamic spiritual rites at the holy shrine and sacred places and, in as many times as they invoke the greatness of the Almighty Allah and praise Him, I pray to the Almighty Allah to endow the pilgrims with divine comfort, eternalise tranquility in their hearts and accept their deeds. I pray to Him that our dear homeland remains secure, tranquil and stable and to lift the calamity of coronavirus from our country and all Islamic states and the world at large.

We pray to the Almighty Allah to grant you success and bestow plentiful bounties on Your Majesty and your noble family. We pray that Your Majesty’s noble people and the Arab and Islamic nation enjoy everlasting progress and prosperity.
