Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has received greetings on the occasion of Eid Al Adha from Sayyid Khalid Hilal al-Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court reading as follows:
Your Majesty, Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, May the Almighty Allah protect you,
Upon the advent of Eid Al Adha 1442 AH and, as Muslims celebrate this blessed occasion, I am honoured, and so are the personnel of the Diwan of Royal Court, to extend the most heartfelt greetings and best wishes to Your Majesty, praying to the Almighty Allah that this occasion always finds you in good health, happiness and a long life. We wish our dear homeland Oman further progress and security and we pray that peace, dignity and tranquility will prevail in the Arab world and the Islamic nation.
Thanks to the Almighty Allah, we celebrate this occasion when our country is enjoying great bounties under Your Majesty’s wise leadership and farsighted vision. Oman will press ahead with its renaissance, eagerly contemplating a verdant future.
It has been the Almighty Allah’s will that this occasion returns when Oman and other countries in the world are still suffering the persisting coronavirus pandemic, but Your Majesty’s Royal attention and wise directives played a major role in alleviating the impacts and facilitating the life of citizens and residents.

As the personnel of the Diwan of Royal Court celebrate this blessed occasion, they reiterate their pledge of allegiance to Your Majesty and they pledge to continue to perform their duties in full enthusiasm and unwavering will to serve their country and their Sultan.
