Water supply interrupted in several Wilayats of Oman

Muscat: Water service was interrupted for several wilayats of the Sultanate due to a power cut at the water pumping station in the wilayat of Sur.

The Oman Water and Wastewater Services Company said: "We would like to warn that the electricity supply to the main water pumping station in the Wilayat of Sur feeding Sur, Jalan sector and North Al Sharqiyah Governorate will be cut off as a result of the current weather conditions."

“The specialists at Mazoon are currently working to restore electricity supply, and we ask subscribers to rationalise water consumption."
