Sur hospital staff, patients not affected by rainwater entering premises: CDAA

Muscat: The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) has assured people that patients and staff at the Sur hospital have not been affected by rainwater entering the hospital premises.

The CDAA said in a statement: "The authority followed up what was circulated on social media about the entry of rainwater into the Sur Referral Hospital due to the weather condition and accordingly the authority's teams visited the hospital to confirm the situation, and there is no detriment to the hospital, patients and medical staff."

The authority stressed the need to obtain information from its official sources.
