Muscat: The decision to ban movement from 5 pm will come into force from today Friday July 16, 2021.

According to the Supreme Committee, the prevention of movement for individuals and vehicles from 5 pm to 4 am will start from Friday July 16 til the morning of Saturday July 31. There will be a total movement ban of individuals and vehicles during the first three days of Eid Al Adha from July 20 to 22, 2021.

Regarding the decision, the Royal Oman Police confirms its readiness to implement the necessary measures for the safety of society, through the police presence in all governorates and wilayats of the Sultanate to implement the decisions of the Supreme Committee. Which will also be in addition to its role in maintaining security and spreading peace and tranquility and seeks continuous cooperation and solidarity among the concerned authorities and the society to limit the spread of this epidemic by committing to the evening closure.
