Documentation of shipwreck site along Oman's coast complete

Muscat: The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism has wrapped up the survey and excavation of the site of a sunken ship along the coast of Oman. 

This is located along the Wilayat of Mirbat, Dhofar Governorate, Oman News Agency (ONA) said.

ONA said that the site of the sunken ship Kiva is part of Oman's underwater cultural heritage.

"The ministry seeks to document everything related to marine heritage in general and underwater cultural heritage in particular, this documentation is one of the most important projects implemented this year in the underwater antiquities sector," the statement added.
