Muscat: In affirmation of the depth of historic relations between the Sultanate and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and, based on the keenness of the two countries’ leaderships to enhance joint ties, His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik will go on an official visit to Saudi Arabia with effect from Sunday, 11 July 2021, in response to an invitation from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud of KSA.
During the visit, discussions will cover all aspects of cooperation between the two countries with a view to upgrading bilateral relations, and realising the aspirations of the two peoples and achieving the objectives set in all fields. The discussions also aim at reaching results that serve common interests and establishing a more prosperous future for the two countries.
During the visit, His Majesty will be accompanied by an official high-level delegation comprising HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al-Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal bin Saud Al-Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al-Nu'amani, Minister of Royal Office, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al-Busaidi, Minister of Interior, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al-Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Eng. Said bin Hamoud bin Said Al-Ma'awali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, Qais bin Mohammed bin Moosa Al-Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al-Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority (OIA), and HH Sayyid Faisal bin Turki Al-Said, the Sultanate’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
