Muscat: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), has been signed between the Chairman of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), and President of the National Chamber of Commerce in Sri Lanka.
"On the sidelines of the Oman-Sri Lanka Business Forum, the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed a MoU with the National Chamber of Commerce in the Republic of Sri Lanka with the aim of contributing to enhancing the volume of commercial cooperation and developing the network of communication between business owners in the two countries," the OCCI said in a statement.
The OCCI added that the MoU was signed by His Excellency Ridha Al Saleh, Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, representing the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and His Excellency Nandika Buddhipala, President of the National Chamber of Commerce in Sri Lanka, representing the Sri Lankan Chamber, and in the presence of His Excellency Omar Libby, Amir Ajwad, the Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka accredited to the Sultanate.
