Citizens who received COVID-19 vaccine allowed to enter Dhofar Governorate

Muscat: The Supreme Committee allows citizens and residents who have received the COVID-19 vaccine to enter Dhofar Governorate starting Friday, July 9, 2021.

The Supreme Committee said in a statement: "Citizens and residents who received the COVID-19 vaccine are allowed to enter the Governorate of Dhofar, and those coming from outside the Sultanate who have received two doses of the approved vaccine are allowed to enter the governorate, starting from Friday, July 9, 2021, until further notice."

“It is stipulated that hotels and furnished apartment facilities in the governorate do not exceed 50 per cent of their capacity, in addition to the necessity of their strict adherence to all precautionary measures approved by the competent authorities,” the Supreme Committee stressed.

The committee also confirmed the continuation of work until further notice with decisions to close all land ports of the Sultanate, suspend the holding of international events, activities and conferences within the Sultanate, close the activities of wedding halls and activities related to tent rental and suspend the holding of local events and activities of a public nature, including sports activities of all kinds.
