Thunderstorms in parts of Oman

Muscat: Thunderstorms of varying intensity were seen in parts of the governorates of North Al Sharqiyah and Al Dhahirah.

A statement issued online by Oman Meteorology said: "Thunder cells formed in parts of the Al-Hajar Mountains and there were thunderstorms of varying intensity in parts of the governorates of North Al Sharqiyah and Al Dhahirah accompanied with hail."
