Breaking: Dine-in facilities allowed at some hotels during night closure in Oman

Muscat: The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism has allowed hotels to operate dining halls at restaurants and cafes during the night closure period, which begins at 8 pm.

The Ministry said in a statement: "With reference to the existing coordination between the Ministry of Heritage and Culture and the Supreme Committee, the Ministry would like to note that 4 and 5 star hotel establishments are allowed to operate dining halls in restaurants and cafes during the ban on movement from eight in the evening until 4 in the morning, provided that it is limited to guests only, as of today, July 4, 2021 until further notice."

"All hotel and tourist establishments must abide by the decisions issued by the Supreme Committee in order to avoid legal accountability."
