Muscat: Oman has ranked third in the Arab world and 21st globally in the Global Cybersecurity Index 2020 report that was announced by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
A statement issued online by the Oman News Agency (ONA), said: "The Sultanate is third in the Arab world and 21st globally out of 193 countries in the Global Cybersecurity Index 2020 report announced by the ITU. Oman has risen from 0.86 points in the 2018 index to 0.96 points in the current index for 2020, recording an increase of 12 per cent."
