Muscat: Omanis aged 18 and older can get vaccinated, starting Sunday.
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency said: "The Ministry of Health announced that it is extending vaccination to a new target segment, which includes people aged 18 and older across all governorates. "
However, in an interview with the Times of Oman, an official at the Ministry of Health said that this only applies to Omanis.
"The ministry calls on the target group to book appointments through the website https://covid19.mog.gov.om or through the Tarassud+ application before visiting the vaccination centres," added ONA.
The official added that governorates will announce locations of the vaccination centres in the upcoming days.
