Thunderstorms predicted over parts of Oman

Muscat: The Al Hajar Mountains likely to witness thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds and hail on Tuesday, said Oman Meteorology.

Oman Meteorology said in its daily weather forecast: "The weather is partly cloudy skies along the coastal areas of Dhofar Governorate and the adjoining mountains with a chance of isolated rainfall. Mainly clear skies over the rest of Oman with chances of convective clouds development and thunderstorms associated with strong winds and hail over the Al Hajar Mountains towards afternoon."
