Muscat: The Sultanate and the State of Kuwait on Monday conducted a discussion session to enhance trade and investment relations between the two countries in the areas of agriculture, livestock and fisheries.
The Omani side was chaired by Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Bakri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources for Agriculture, while the Kuwaiti side was chaired by Mohammad Jassim Al-Saqr, President of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI).
The online meeting, organised by Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, reviewed investment opportunities in the agricultural, livestock and fisheries fields available on both sides. The Kuwaiti specialists of the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition (PAFN) previewed the laws, regulations and standard specifications related to importing and exporting agricultural, animal and fish products.
The meeting saw participation of a number of senior officials from both sides.
