Muscat: Oman has recorded the highest daily Covid-19 deaths, exceeding 45 during the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health (MOH).
On June 28, statistics made available on Tarassud, the COVID-19 monitoring app launched by the ministry, showed that the number of those hospitalised in the past 24 hours reached 197 along with 506 patients admitted to the ICU, bringing the total number of patients admitted to health institutions to 1,650.
There are 2,243 new cases of COVID-19 in Oman, deaths reaching 46 on Monday, according to the daily report of the Ministry of Health.
The Ministry stated that the total number of registered cases in the Sultanate is 264,302 , with 231,718 recovered (87.7 per cent) and 3,013 deaths (1.14 per cent).
