House used by expats for illegal activities raided in Oman

Muscat: Muscat Municipality in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police (ROP), raided a house in the Wilayat of Quriyat used by expat workers for non-compliance with the use of residential buildings, and the practice of commercial activity in an unhealthy environment.

A statement issued online by the Muscat Municipality said: "Due to non-compliance with the use of residential buildings, and the practice of commercial activity in an unhealthy environment, Muscat Municipality in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police (ROP), raided a house in the Wilayat of Quriyat used by expat workers to practice sewing. The tools used in the activity were confiscated."
