His Majesty Sultan Qaboos issues Royal Decree

MUSCAT:His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said yesterday issued a Royal Decree No. 9/2017 amending some provisions of the Income Tax Law, after the law had been presented before the Council of Oman.
Article (1) states that the amendments attached to this decree shall be applied to the Income Tax Law promulgated by Royal Decree No. 28/2009.
Article (2) states that the phrase “Minister Supervising the Ministry of Finance”, wherever it recurs in Royal Decree No. 28/2009, shall be replaced by the phrase “Minister Responsible for Financial Affairs”.
Article (3) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette.
