Residence occupied by expats raided by Municipal authorities

Muscat: A residential property occupied by expats has been raided by Muscat Municipality.

A statement issued online by the Muscat Municipality said: "Muscat Municipality, in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police and the Public Prosecution, carried out a raid operation on a house inhabited by expatriate workers, which violates the local order regarding the regulation of buildings and stipulates that workers or bachelors are not allowed to live in residential areas."
