Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has completed the field vaccination campaign with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine for its employees in all its formations in the various Oman’s governorates.
"The Royal Oman Police, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, completed the field vaccination campaign with the first dose of the vaccine for its employees in all its formations in the various governorates of the Sultanate, which lasted for two weeks, with the continuation of vaccination in the geographical clinics in the units of special tasks for individual cases," ROP said in a statement.
Brigadier Doctor Abdul Malik bin Sulaiman Al Kharusi, Director General of Medical Services, explained that through the field campaign, the medical teams sensed great cooperation from the employees of the Royal Oman Police, which contributed to completing the vaccination with the first dose in a short time.
Al Kharousi indicated that a central technical team was formed during the immunisation campaign to verify all data to ensure that all vaccine recipient data is stored in online Tarassud app directly through tablets, and the civil number is used to document the data, so that the vaccine recipient can obtain his certificate through Tarassud system .
"The second dose of the vaccine will be given according to the specified time period, in coordination with the Ministry of Health, in accordance with the national strategy for immunisation against Covid-19," Al Kharousi added.
