Muscat: Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’mani, Minister of the Royal Office received yesterday Philip Hammond, British Foreign Secretary, within the framework of his current visit to the Sultanate and his accompanying delegation.
The two sides reviewed a number of topics of interest to the two friendly countries, reviewed the march of good bilateral relations that bind the Sultanate and the friendly United Kingdom and ways of enhancing them in all fields so as to achieve common interests, as well as addressing a number of issues of interest.
The British Ambassador to the Sultanate attended the meeting.
The Royal Office Minister also received this evening Gen. Sir Nick Houghton, British Chief of the Defence Staff within the framework of his current visit to the Sultanate.
At the outset of the meeting the Minister of the Royal Office welcomed the guest who expressed his happiness to visit the Sultanate. The two sides exchanged cordial conversations and discussed a number of topics of interest to the two friendly countries, as well as addressing a number of issues of common concern.
