Driver arrested for violating traffic rules in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has arrested a vehicle driver for endangering his life and the lives of others on the public road.

A statement issued online by the General Traffic Department said: "After a video clip was circulated on social media of a vehicle driver and another filming it, endangering his life and the lives of others, the General Traffic Department confirms that the perpetrator has been arrested and is in the process of completing legal procedures."

"The Royal Oman Police calls upon everyone to abide by traffic rules and regulations, and to make our roads safer for its users," the statement added.
