The MoU was signed in Muscat between Talal Al Rahbi, Vice Chairman of the unit and TBY’s Country Manager for Oman Andrea Tsiachtsiri.

Muscat: Noted global media group The Business Year, has signed a partnership agreement with the Oman Vision 2040 Implementation and Follow-Up Unit for the creation of a special chapter in TBY’s eighth annual publication on the Omani economy.

The Business Year has been providing investors, businesses, and governments with first-hand insights into the world’s most dynamic markets for over a decade.

The MoU was signed in Muscat between Talal Al Rahbi, Vice Chairman of the unit and TBY’s Country Manager for Oman Andrea Tsiachtsiri.

The agreement lays the foundations for the preparation of a chapter on Vision 2040 to be included in The Business Year: Oman 2021.

Through its research, TBY will shed light on the pillars of Vision 2040 and share exclusive insights from leading political and business figures working to achieve the long-term vision.

TBY’s team in Oman has already started conducting interviews with leaders from all major sectors of the economy, including, finance, energy, agriculture, industry, logistics, ICT, health and education, tourism, and others. With its eighth edition on Oman, TBY aims to promote the country as an important player in the region and a solid investment destination.

Furthermore, TBY plans to highlight the steps Oman is taking toward a more sustainable future. In order to do so, in April, the global media group signed a partnership agreement with the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP).

Andrea Tsiachtsiri, Country Manager for Oman, emphasized the importance of covering Oman’s long-term ambitions in parallel to monitoring the year-to-year developments in the sultanate, stating; “The Business Year has been following up on all the changes happening in Oman over the past eight years and now it is time to see how all of these developments align with the long-term vision of where the country is heading. We are excited to be getting the support of the Unit in this endeavour.”

The edition will reach a targeted global audience through its print edition, and will be available on a range of digital platforms, including Bloomberg Terminal, Dow Jones Factiva, FactSet, and Refinitiv Eikon, not to mention PressReader and Google Books, as well as on the TBY Reader app, available on iOS. The Business Year: Oman will be published in 4Q2021.
