Muscat: More than 450 medical devices have been handed over to elderly patients and those with low-income through Ihsan association.
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said: "The number of oxygen machines delivered to patients through Ihsan association reached 65, along with 182 electric beds, 197 regular wheelchairs, and 31 sputum suction devices, in addition to a number of other medical supplies and needs."
Nasser Al Maliki, Vice President of the Association in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate, explained that the Association seeks to relieve the pressure that hospitals are facing from the COVID-19, especially during this period, praising the role provided by the association in cooperation with the private sector.
Al Maliki added that the services provided are targeted to the elderly and people with low income through coordination with hospital specialists on the types of devices and how to use them.
