Oman hospital to stop non-emergency surgeries due to rise in COVID-19 cases

Muscat: Due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in Oman, Jalan Bani Bu Ali Hospital will stop non-emergency surgeries from 20 June, 2021, until further notice.

A statement issued online by Directorate General of Health Services in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate said: "Due to an increase in the number of COVID-19 patients in the Sultanate and for more precautionary measures, the administration of Jalan Bani Bu Ali Hospital has decided to reduce the number of general surgery and orthopaedic clinic patients and stop non-emergency surgeries from June 20, 2021, until further notice. "
