Temperature in Oman continues to soar, approaches 52 degrees

Muscat: The temperature in Joba station in Al Wusta Governorate has approached 52 degrees Celsius, which is the highest temperature  recorded in Oman on Wednesday

A statement issued online by the Oman Meteorology said: "Joba station recorded 51.6 degrees Celsius as the highest temperature on Wednesday followed by Bidiyah station and Al Mudhaibi station in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate with 50.4 degrees Celsius. In Nizwa station in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate the temperature reached 49.1 degrees Celsius."
