Expats arrested for unlicensed activity in Sohar

Muscat: Expats have been arrested by the Sohar Municipality for practicing unlicensed activity.

"The Sohar Municipality, in coordination with the Public Prosecution, has arrested expatriate workers engaged in laundry activity in an unlicensed residential site that lacks the minimum health requirements," the Sohar Municipality said in a statement.

 The municipality notes that it will take necessary procedures followed against everyone who engages in unlicensed health and professional activities in accordance with the provisions of local decisions and orders.
