Muscat: The Embassy of Oman in New Delhi has issued a statement for Omani citizens who are in India.
The Embassy of Oman in New Delhi said that the embassy would like to inform citizens present in the Republic of India that the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a circular on extending visas for foreigners stranded in India due to the Covid-19 pandemic until August 31, 2021."
" People whose visas have expired do not need to submit an application to renew the residence until that date, but an application for an exit permit from India is submitted upon departure without paying any fees or fine," the embassy added.
