Oman congratulates UAE on election to UNSC

Muscat: The Minister of Foreign has congratulated the United Arab Emirates on its election as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council.

Sayyid Badr Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign, said: "My sincere congratulations to the brothers in the UAE and to my brother, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on the election of the UAE as a non-permanent member of the Security Council for the period 2022-2023, and we look forward to the UAE's contributions to strengthening international peace and security from within the Security Council framework."
