Football: Oman scores victory against Afghanistan

Muscat: The Oman football team beat Afghanistan by two goals to one.

The first national football team defeated its Afghan counterpart 1:2 in the penultimate round of the Asian double qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and the Asian Cup in China 2023.

The win takes Oman to 15 points and they will aim for another victory against Bangladesh on Tuesday.
