Muscat: The current oil prices reflect the improvement in the global economy's performance, coinciding with the expansion of vaccination campaigns against COVID-19, said the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy.
Dr Nasser bin Rashid bin Abdullah Al Ma'awali, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy, said that the oil prices reflect the balance between the forces of supply and demand, as well as the improvement in the performance of the global economy, coinciding with the expansion of vaccination campaigns against Coronavirus and the global trend towards openness and lifting restrictions on economic movement.
On Wednesday, the official price of Oman oil exceeded 71 USD.
