Minister receives Ambassador of Iran

Muscat: His Excellency, Minister of the Royal Office met with the Iranian Ambassador.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency, (ONA), said: "His Excellency Lieutenant-General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu'amani, the Minister of the Royal Office, receives Ali Najafi Khoshroudi, Ambassador of Iran accredited to Oman."

"At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of the Royal Office welcomed the ambassador, who extended his thanks and appreciation to the Sultanate for the efforts it is making in the region. Cordial conversations were exchanged, a number of common issues were discussed, and the progress of the good bilateral relations linking Oman with the friendly Islamic Republic of Iran was reviewed during the meeting," added the statement.
