Oman reviews bilateral relations with Bangladesh, Ukraine

Muscat: Oman's Undersecretary of Diplomatic Affairs in the Foreign Ministry met with the Foreign Secretary of Bangladesh and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, in two separate sessions.

"The first virtual political consultation session between the foreign ministries of Oman and the friendly People's Republic of Bangladesh was held on Tuesday morning. The Omani side was chaired by His Excellency Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Issa Al Harthy, Undersecretary of Diplomatic Affairs in the Foreign Ministry, and the Bangladeshi side by His Excellency Ambassador Masud Bin Momen, Foreign Secretary of Bangladesh," said an online statement by the Foreign Ministry. 

H.E. Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Issa Al Harthy, Undersecretary of Diplomatic Affairs in the Foreign Ministry, also held a virtual meeting with Dmytro Senik, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the statement added. 

Bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation in various fields to serve common interests were discussed during both sessions, according to the statement. Views on regional and international issues were also exchanged.
