COVID-19: Health workers in Oman’s South Al Batinah receive first jab

Muscat: Health workers in private health institutions in South Al Batinah Governorate have started to receive the first dose of the Russian Sputnik-V vaccine.

A statement issued online by the Directorate General said: "The Directorate General of Health Services in South Al Batinah Governorate announces the start of administering the first dose of the Russian Sputnik-V vaccine to all Health workers in private health institutions in the governorate, as of today, June 7, 2021.

"The Russian Sputnik-V vaccine will be given to health workers in private health institutions in the wilayats of Rustaq and Al Awabi, at the Golden Medical Complex in Rustaq between 8 am and 4 pm and. For those in the wilayats of Barka, Al Musanna, Nakhl and Wadi Al-Maawil, at Badr Al Samaa Hospital in the Wilayat of Barka from 8 am to 8 pm," the statement added.
