Unlicensed commercial stores in agricultural lands seized in Oman

Muscat: Unlicensed commercial stores in agricultural lands have been seized by the Sohar Municipality for storing building materials, children's toys and others.

"Sohar Municipality, in coordination with the Public Prosecution, seized unlicensed commercial stores in agricultural lands where building materials, children's toys and other such were stored," Sohar Municipality said in a statement.

 Sohar Municipality added that the municipality calls on the owners of farms not to use them as commercial stores, saying the license for these activities is limited to lands of commercial, residential commercial or industrial use only.
