Muscat: Dhofar Municipality has finished a project to pave more roads.
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency said: "Dhofar Municipality completed the project of paving internal roads in the Wilayat of Rakhyut, with a length of 13 km, as part of the municipality's plan to strengthen the road network system and to keep up with the requirements of the population and urban growth and the development of infrastructure in the various wilayats of the governorate."
"The project included paving internal roads in the center of the Wilayat of Rakhyut and its affiliated areas, the construction of pedestrian sidewalks, the installation and operation of 74 lighting poles, the construction of speed breakers, the installation of traffic and directional signs, in addition to the construction of parking lots in some public and tourist sites," added the statement.
